Why?
Chicago has an extensive history involving poverty, social inequalities, and homelessness. It is also a very diverse and unique urban community.
What are we gonna do?
Community Service!(centered around the development and improvement of the greater Chicago area)
What does that even mean?
We are going go to prepare a community dinner, assist the elderly, help with the after school program, help out at the food pantry, and so MUCH MORE!
We covered why Chicago, talked about poverty in America, trip fundraising, and we got to know each other a little better!
